ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಸರ್ವೋಚ್ಚ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ನಾಯಕ ಪೋಪ್ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ನಿಧನಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಸಂತಾಪ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ಕುರಿತು ‘ಎಕ್ಸ್‌’ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪೋಸ್ಟ್ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಅವರು, ಪೋಪ್ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ನಿಧನದ ವಾರ್ತೆ ಕೇಳಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ದುಃಖಿತನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಪೋಪ್ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ಅವರು ಶಾಂತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಹಾನುಭೂತಿಯ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
ಪೋಪ್ ಅವರ ಬದುಕು ಬಡವರ ಮೇಲಿನ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಭರವಸೆಯ ಸಂದೇಶವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಾದ್ಯಂತದ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಂತಾಪವನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಪೋಸ್ಟ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
